Career Day Inspires Bailey APAC Scholars

Bailey APAC Middle School recently hosted a highly successful Career Day, giving scholars the opportunity to explore a wide variety of careers and future pathways. Professionals from across the community visited campus to share their experiences, offer advice, and encourage scholars as they begin thinking about their futures.

Scholars had the opportunity to learn from members of the Police SWAT Team, Fire Department, and wildlife professionals, gaining insight into careers that serve and protect our communities. Representatives from Jackson State University and Hinds Community College also shared valuable information about educational opportunities and pathways beyond high school. In addition, several law firms and other professionals spoke with scholars about their careers and experiences.

All scholars participated in the event, making it a meaningful and engaging experience for the entire school. The day provided valuable real-world connections and encouraged scholars to begin thinking more intentionally about their goals.
